Delete your plan₿ account
You can request deletion of your plan₿ account at any time. This page explains how the process works, what data we delete, and what we are legally required to keep.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — From the app
Fastest- Open plan₿
- Go to Profile → Security → Delete account
- Confirm with Face ID / passcode
Option 2 — By email (no app required)
Send an email from your registered email address to:
contact@planb.armySubject: Delete Account
In the body, include:
- Your registered email
- (Optional) Reason for deletion
We will reply within 7 business days to confirm the request and start the process.
What gets deleted
- Your plan₿ login (Privy account)
- Your in-app profile (handle, language, settings)
- Your support chat history
- Your push notification tokens and device registrations
- Your saved contacts (plan₿ handles)
- Your biometric / Face ID preferences
What is retained (and why)
Brazilian financial regulation (BCB, Receita Federal, CMN Resolution 4.935/2021) requires plan₿ and our banking correspondent (Ouribank S.A.) to retain certain records for up to 10 years after account closure. This includes:
- KYC documents and verification status (Gnosis Pay + Avenia)
- Transaction history and PIX records
- Card issuance and spend records
- Anti-money-laundering (AML) audit logs
This data is stored encrypted, segregated from active services, and accessed only when required by regulators or for legitimate compliance purposes. It is never used for marketing or analytics after deletion.
Self-custody assets — important
plan₿ is self-custody. Your USDC, BRLA, and BTC are held in wallets that only you control. Deleting your plan₿ account does not move or destroy your crypto assets. Before requesting deletion:
- Withdraw your USDC / BRLA to an external wallet
- Withdraw your BTC to an external Bitcoin address
- Cancel any active Gnosis Pay card
If you delete your account with funds remaining, you will need your Privy login credentials (email or Google/Apple) to ever recover access. plan₿ cannot recover them for you.
Timeline
- Request received → confirmation email within 7 business days
- Active data deleted → within 30 days of confirmation
- Regulated records → retained per legal requirement, then deleted
